While looking for a Marquee to buy, I chose Galatent as one of a few online firms I wanted to consider further. The online reviews were good (and looked genuine) but to make sure I consulted with a nephew who has spent a few summers erecting Marquees - he had heard good things in the industry of Galatent, so I decided to go with them. Their website is a bit haphazardly arranged - I did find almost everything I needed eventually but it took some time. I placed and paid for the order online on a Saturday. By Monday, I had had no order confirmation, so I emailed a query. By tuesday, still no reply, so I phoned them - to be advised the order was due for delivery within an hour! And it was! So, full marks for speed of delivery, but their messaging systems and order confirmations need a bit of work - possibly a covid-related problem, to be fair. As regards the marquee, seems to be an excellent product. I have assembled it (twice) to check all parts but it has yet to be used in earnest. Good solid construction and materials, easily assembled (although my 4 x 6m marquee definitely needs 2 persons to construct). The only gripe I have is the kit contains only the exact number of wingnuts (42 in my case). These are pretty much essential for structural stability. It seems probable some will get lost during construction and dismantling. Surely they could have supplied a few extra as spares? (They do sell them separately, but the cost seems high for a relatively simple item). Overall, would have been a 5 star rating had there not been the admin problems I mention and a couple of spare wingnuts does not seem too much to ask for. But a quality product, promptly delivered. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The tent is very good mostly, though it arrived slightly damaged because the way it folds makes it vulnerable to some aluminium parts putting pressure on some plastic parts and breaking them. I immediately reported the damage upon unpacking the new tent and was eventually sent a rather shabby replacement plastic part to correct this, Customer service throughout was slow and somewhat disobliging and my comments - intended in a spirit of helpfulness - about the design fault were first misunderstood and then ignored. The product is certainly good enough for me to buy again from Gala Tent, but because of the poor customer service, if I could find an equally good alternative product elsewhere I definitely would.

I have not erected the gazebo as yet due to the weather but here are my observations so far.The frame is very robustly constructed and should last for years if not a lifetime. I have not unfolded the various sides nor cover yet. One aspect is the weight, it is alot heavier than I expected and the wheels are very small for the overall size. Larger wheels would make traansport considerably easier patticularly over rough ground which is often the case ofr some users.

Unfortunately, due to the weather I haven't opened the package yet. I put it straight in the shed. Having said that,I was told my gazebo would be delivered the next day but in fact it took a week to arrive.

The ordering and delivery of the items was fine. I haven't inspected or erected the items yet, but I'm sure they are fine, too. The canopy is to replace the one I have now, which split down the entire length after a rainstorm. I did want to add to my order and telephoned you on Friday, January 22, asking if it wasn't too late to do so. The lady I spoke to said she couldn't contact your warehouse and would call me back. I told her the items that I would like to add. I never received a call back, so a little disappointed. Hence only a 4-star rating and not 5.

Great service from Gala Tent when ordering my 6m x 8M marquee. Arrived successfully, yet to be erected (being January!) ... Only let down by the rudest delivery driver (TNT?) ever experienced ... This not being Gala Tent's fault. A complaint was submitted and I can only hope being followed up Gala Tent.

Bag with wheels was bought to make moving our gazebo easier. I don't think it will last long. It seems to be made smaller than one we had before and the base is not as sturdy. It's a struggle to get gazebo in the bag. Zips seem ok and there's a large pocket on the front and some clips. Good delivery. Good website.

So far the Tent is great (3 x 2 gala Tent). Wanted the PVC covers, which were around £100 extra, but was not available at the time. Was told if I paid the extra £120 they would send the pvc when available - sorted. Unfortunately, the extra £120 only covered the roof cover and not the sides which was a bit miss leading. If you are after the PVC covers and sides I would advise to wait until they are in stock as you will save a fortune compared to upgrading later. (only £100 extra at the time rather than £180 for the sides and another £120 for the roof later on)That aside, the product is great and the staff on the phone were very courteous about the whole thing.

Gala Tents were a natural choice, as I had rented one beforehand and decided the tent was a good quality, robust tent. The purchasing of the tent was a little confusing, because I was not aware the sides can be bought as a package. This process could be clearer, as I required a specific configuration and may have paid more than I would have had to. However, I got my tent and what I asked for, so more than happy and would recommend the purchase to family and friends who may be looking to purchase.
