Gala Tent UK

I ordered by phone. The young man who dealt with my order was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. A pleasure to deal with. The tents themselves are great value. Light enough for me to load into my car on my own. The frame is simple with none of the usual complicated bends and joints that make setting up take so long. The poles are clearly labelled and you'd struggle to do it wrong! I was able to erect the roof and fit the canopy on my own but needed some help to get the whole thing on it's legs. Once that was done I could fit the sides on my own. Not may marquees of this size that could be erected almost single handed! My only criticism would be the bags that the young man suggested. They are HUGE and slippery so far too heavy and awkward to handle. I disposed of them and made my own. But all in all, a great purchase. So good, we bought 3 more! they fit together so we have a total space of 24 m x 4 m for around £2000.

Excellent choice. Good advice on the helpline. We bought two and although more expensive, you get what you pay for and these are great and made in the UK (a key factor for our club).

Great service and super fast delivery, the product doesn't feel as good quality as the last canopy but is still very good

The marquee that we purchased is great. A couple of parts broke after the first use, but these were promptly replaced by Gala tent. The only issue with this marquee compared to older models is that there is no way of keeping the flaps along the side down, which creates an issue when it is windy and rainy, as the rains blows in. On earlier models there were fastenings on each leg which helped hold the flap from the roof down. We had to resort to gaffa tape.

Excellent service from start to finish

We were well pleased with the ground cover which we used to cover the lawn inside a marquee and gazebo. We did order some pegs but decided that we would need too many to make the joins safe and decided to use Duck Tape. Unfortunately, as the ground was damp, the tape just peeled off overnight. On contacting Gala Tent we came up with the idea of sewing the joins which a very helpful daughter did for us using black garden string. No problem and the event went off very smoothly .. even underfoot! Thanks.

Excellent company to deal with from day one, would recommend them to anyone, really pleased that I did not go to a competitor. The Gazebo is easy to erect and of very high quality.

Your service was excellent, let down only by the courier delivering to the wrong Old Rectory (there being 6 within 5 miles but only one with the correct post code). You recovered the situation by sending out a second batch very promptly. Thank you.The product, spares for our Gala tent require comment. The cross piece that joins roof pole members needs to be well welded to take the bending strain when the tent is subject to strong gusts. More crucially, the nut welded onto the T crosses that join the A poles to the D 1&2 are not strong enough to take the strain put on them. A longer round headed bolt going through the T member and fastened with a standard nut would be more reliable.
