Gala Tent UK

I wanted a tent that wasn't white, looked robust and was easy to erect. The service was very useful. through the chat line my purchase was secured with all my questions answered. It was delivered on time. I would recommend you to friends and collegues. Thank you

When the tent was finally up it looked good and performed well. It is not difficult when you have put it up once BUT..1. The printed instructions in the boxes do not indicate that B3 poles should be at the top so because we had so many B1s left over we used those which didn''t work. 2. Even when we changed these the roof did not fit easily so we exchanged two B2s for the shorter B1s at one end to get the roof to get over the edge of the frame. 3. On even slightly uneven ground the frame pulls it self apart despite the wing nuts. Levelling the ground is essential (and luckily not too difficult as we bought the ground bar). 4. The storm pegs tended to pull out of the ground as we tightened the straps so we ended up using the straps to pull together the end gables at the eaves and the big pegs to anchor the ground bar from moving around as we, 5. Had great difficulty getting the end walls to fix and be able to open and close the doors. We eventually pulled the other walls round the corner enough to get a half decent fit but the doors were VERY tight to close. 6. Small detail but it seems that the metal hook on the roof leg covers has no way of actually getting into the holes in the

Excellent sales help and delivery arrangements, All arrived safe and sound . Only one pole was 'unmarked' but is soon found a home with the rest of the 'A' s . My only reluctance for 5 stars is the tent pegs to secure the tent flaps to the ground . The thin version supplied were next to useless and bent when you looked at them , unless you found a nice soggy bit of ground, there were only a handful of thicker pegs and some of those struggled. The standard heavy duty tent pegs supplied by a visiting friend were far more suitable. ( not to be confused with the ground anchor set). This is my second privet purchase of a Gala tent , hence knew the quality of the basic tent and structure, but struggled with assembling the corners . That are stitched to the roof, required to clip in to the legs ( pole C) but then you can't fully close the zip to make it water tight. May be the next time it goes up, things may be clearer , but 6 of us couldn't work it out re the corners. Other wise a great product ant a good price ,thank you.
