Hi Just a quick note to say how impressive the portable dance floor is. I have a restaurant and we have Tribute acts each month and customers hire out the room for functions. I have perfected the putting away time to under ten mins same with assembly. The black and white squares can be put into all sorts of patterns. Even when a drink is spilt on it it does not become slippy. An excellent product all round.

At the beginning of the year I purchased the Gala Shade Compact. I had been looking for a pop up gazebo to use at VW shows and meets. It needed to fit under the bed of my camper van and be quick and easy to put up. I've had a few run of the mill pop up gazebos, all of which lasted a few shows before the canopy got ripped or the frame was bent with the wind.The gala shade compact packs down just small enough to fit under the bed as well as in the boot of my car. Although it is heavier than i expected, the carry bag has wheels to help with moving it around and a large pocket on the front for pegs and tie down straps. There is also enough room in the top of the bag for the canopy and all 4 side panels if folded neatly. This means no mucky marks or damage from the ground pegs by keeping them all in the front pocket. When i first unpacked the compact, i was a little sceptical about its quality, but once set up it's leagues apart from the cheap supermarket gazebos. Opening the the frame is easy enough for 1 or 2 people, a matter of seconds with 4 people. The canopy then throws over the frame, pulls down over the corners and attaches to velcro at each corner. The corners then lock into place which holds the canopy snug and firms up the whole frame. The legs can be locked in place at various heights to make attaching the side panels easy to do. The side panels are my favourite part of the compact. With cheaper gazebos you have to carefully line up velcro, constantly sticking and unsticking it to get the sides hung properly. This isn't the case with this. Each side panel has a metal hook on the top 2 corners, allowing it to be hung in seconds. This holds the panel in place while you fasten a number of toggles at the top and velcro straps around the legs. The side panels then zip together, holding them firmly in place and stopping any draughts getting in. After the first few times, the whole thing only takes 2 people about 15 minutes to put up and the longest part of taking it down is folding the canopy. Ratchet tie down kits make the whole gazebo very sturdy in the wind and are in my opinion, an essential purchase to go with the compact. I have now had it almost a year and it has stood up to any weather thrown at it. While Gala tent advise not to leave it up in strong winds, i have found that if set up properly, pegged down and strapped down in all 4 corners with the ratchet tie down kits, it doesn’t move. At a recent VW show, many of the traders marquees had been turned inside out overnight but this was still standing. Overall i am very happy with my purchase. The Gala shade Compact is the cheapest option available and yet has exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a heavy duty marquee, this is not the one for you. But if you want a lightweight, robust canopy to throw in and out of the car at the weekends then i can’t recommend this enough.

We purchased a 4 X 3 Gala Tent PVC coated and wer impressed by the ease of assembly, however we subsequently noted a manufacturing error in the roof panel, after photos were sent , Gala sorted the issue immediately by replacing all of the tent panels , Excellent customer service.

bought this incredable marquee last week to cover our swimming pool and toaday we have gale force winds 8-10gale force and my marquee has never movedan inch . i have never had such a tent of this type , EXCELLENT . THANKS GALA

I bought the marquee last week to use as a covered in space over my swimming pool,at this time we have gale force winds of up to force 10 and my marquee is standing up to the wind pressure fantastically, I am very impressed and by the sturdiness of it
